Become a DELEGATE BY:

NNDS Delegate

• The number of delegates needed is determined by the NDA by-laws and its ratio to NNDS membership based on the number of active members.
• You will be assigned a certain number of your colleagues to represent at the bi-annual NDA House of Delegates meetings.  You are responsible to report issues that may be voted on and to communicate those issues to your colleagues.  Feedback from the colleagues you represent will then need to be summarized and brought with you to the House of Delegates meetings.
• Your primary responsibility is to attend the bi-annual House of Delegates meetings (2 per year); the NDA Mid-Winter typically held in February, ½ day.  And the Annual Summer meeting, typically held in July, which is at a location chosen by the NDA President each year.  This meeting welcomes you to bring your family and/or friends as there are always great activities for families to see and do during this meeting time.
• If you have an emergency and you are unable to fulfill your obligation as a Delegate to any particular meeting, it is YOUR responsibility to find an Alternate Delegate to take your place and notify the Chief Delegate and the NNDS.
• This is an elected position and the term for a NNDS Delegate is 3 years.
