Qualifications:
D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
Successful completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
Nevada State General Anesthesia Permit
Nevada State Dental License
Proof of and ability to maintain malpractice insurance
Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implant placements, bone grafting and pathology
Evaluate and diagnose patients' oral and maxillofacial conditions
Develop treatment plans and explain procedures to patients
Educate patients on post-operative care and preventive measures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Remain current with advancements in oral surgery techniques and dental terminology to provide the highest standard of care
Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities
